How to Use BoatingSF.com

Finding information about a particular area

From BoatingSF.com's Home page, explore the bay by clicking on the chart in the center panel. You'll then see information specific to the location you clicked on.

On the page for any location (such as Sausalito, for example), you'll see a map of the area with icons showing the locations of key facilities, as well as for many of our photos. Click on any icon on the map to see the picture or more information on a facility. Below the map are direct links to listings for that area, such as for marinas, fuel docks, restaurants, anchorages, and so forth.

Finding information on a specific topic

Choose the topic from one of the links on the Home Page, or click one of the buttons in the top bar (such as Facilities or Services.

From the Search page, you can enter any text to search for.

Browsing photos of locations and topics of interest

At the right edge of each page you'll find photos related to the topic and location you're viewing. Click on any of the small photos to see a larger version. You can also browse photos by boat name, boat type, and more -- click the Photos button in the top bar of any page.
